During the 2012 Holiday Season, Folgers engaged a new, somewhat younger audience through an innovative mobile application that continued the rich Folgers tradition of helping connect people during the holidays. Through facial detection and augmented reality, a consumer could transform into the holiday greeting she couldn’t be there in person to express. Thousands of people transformed themselves into Santa Claus, Rudolph and more—sharing Folgers-branded holiday greetings over Facebook, Twitter, Email and even SMS.
