The target audience for this website is the independent convenience store owner/operator. There are approximately 150,000 convenience stores in the U.S. and it is not efficient or feasible for the Kellogg sales force to call on independent owners/operators who may only manage one or two stores. Our goal for the site is to engage the independent store owner in the brands, promotions and support that Kellogg offers to help them grow their store. In addition to the information that is available for all site visitors, we also offer valued added tools behind the Grow My Store registration including profit calculators, consumer insights, a competitor locator, marketing tips and other support. The site was launched in July 2011 and approximately 20 percent of all site visitors have registered for Grow My Store. Average visitor time is 4:20 and 48 percent of site visitors return.
